Fitting Spectra
Fitting is an every-day task in a laboratory and we
don't want to go into it, except for the special, very
time-expensive case of simulating spectra, which can
be fastened up with C/C++ and a special feature of
ProFit. We will also give some hints on how to install
the developpment environnment in the hope that people
in our group can do it by themselves in the future. At this
place I want to say thank Ivan Biaggio who was
giving me the crucial hints.
In order to make this chapter as short and as comprehensive
as possible we will discuss a single example which
does not even afford the knowledge of the special
structures of C++. (Nevertheless we are encouraging
the use of C++ features such as templates because they
can make a simulation even faster and better readable.)
For a detailed introduction please refer to [#!proFit!#].
