The Pulse Masks

The predefined pulse masks for the PLS command of CPC7 denote the following bitmaps (hexadecimal numbers start with $):

GTPS	$400	amplifier gate GT and pulse PULSE
PULSE	$001	pulse with the pre-configured phase
GT	$080	amplifier gate
LT	$400	PTS latch
GT+X	$480	amplifier gate GT and latch LT and phase
GT-X	$680	ditto
GT+Y	$580	ditto
GT-Y	$780	ditto
GTS	$008	signal gate at the spectrometer
TR	$020	trigger

A detailed list with all the pulse definitions is placed in the file PULSEDEF.7CF or in the SeveNMR manual. Using these abbreviations has the advantage that a change in the instrumental setup implies only a change in the file PULSEDEF.7CF and not in all the pulse programs.
